OEGAST: Essential information

General information
Welcome to the official homepage of the OEGAST (Austrian Society for Inborn Errors of Metabolism). This society has been founded by parents back in 1989. There are currently two major areas where the OEGAST is involved: Phenylketonuria as well as Galactosaemia. This is because there are not enough patients in the society that represent other inborn errors.
OEGAST is a member of the ESPKU and EGS who represent Phenylketonuria and Galactosaemia within Europe. The major goal of this society is to gather information for PKU patients and parents and provide personal help and experience. There are also regular events taking place. In order to name some events: Diet learning camp for teenagers, general meeting, excursions; and loads more.
